SAVANNAH | The manager of a Savannah shopping mall says a "Craigslist deal that just went wrong" resulted in gunfire outside the food court.
Savannah-Chatham County police spokeswoman Eunicia Baker says no one got hurt Thursday afternoon when a man trying to sell a computer shot into the air while chasing the potential buyer man into the parking lot of the Savannah Mall.
Mall manager Philip McConnell says the men met at the food court to finalize the sale they had negotiated online.
McConnell says the seller told police and mall security that the buyer grabbed the computer without paying and tried to run. He says the seller drew a handgun and fired near a "no weapons" sign at the mall entrance.
The buyer dropped the computer and fled in a car.
